We climbed Spencer Butte today. It was gorgeous -- look at these views! It was a great day to be above the clouds. According to the City of Eugene Parks and Rec website, the butte is 2054 feet high. Its about a mile and a half from the trailhead. The land for Spencer Butte Park was set aside in 1938. It's one of my favorite places, anywhere!
